A Chaotic Morning

:antok:Yawn...first thing I heard in the morning today was a few guys knocking vigorously at a room on my floor. And when I heard it at first I thought it was nothing but then I immediately realized it's a guy voice asking the girls in the room to open the door and I was like what the-:Opps:( How could guys be at a girls-only hostel block and knocking so vigorously demanding girls to open the door:s:I thought it could be a spot check and my eyes opened wide thinking that a group of guys will enter my room and started going through my messy locker.:damn:(
But then it turned out as one of the slots included in a program held in my college this week.Phew...blogger-emoticon.blogspot.com so they are not gonna check through my locker or anything, they just wanted to see the room..that's all...But in the end they didn't go to my room..which is quite a relief..considering my room is too messy right now.So today I woke up earlier than I should because of the noise they made while they were checking a few rooms on my floor. But that's about it.:)

Rebecca Black And The Fun of Friday

It's Friday,FridayGotta get down on Friday
Everybody's looking forward to the weekend, weekend
Friday,Friday
Getting down on Friday
Everybody's looking forward to the weekend...
Okay,so who still doesn't know this song?Okay,go to YouTube right now and look for Rebecca Black Friday,oh my God..you guys are so way behind.blogger-emoticon.blogspot.comHaha..cool..don't get mad..I was just kidding.Don't worry if you don't know about this song, that just means you don't waste your time on entertainment stuff, which is good. It's not like it'll be in your final examination papers.01
To those who have heard this song, well what do you guys think?I know I've heard that a lot of people don't like this song because the lyrics sounds stupid,or is there any other reasons you guys hate this song?Oh yeah,Rebecca's friends weird dancing style,I know, you guys are making fun of the girl in pink and red dress standing at the back of the car.Besides that?(Jeez..I'm pretending as if we are really in a two-way communica
tion.Haha..crazy me.blogger-emoticon.blogspot.com)
Okay, let's forget about all that for a moment.Because the truth is,although a lot of people hate this song,or hate her:s:Emm..I don't where you guys stand for this, but the thing is her Friday video has reached more than 10 millions views in just about a month time:q:That's impressive I think regardless of the talks that everyone hate the song.
For me,this song is kinda catchy and it's easy to sing along and it really can leave a happy feeling to those who listen to it.Alright,I know that the lyrics sort of silly a little bit with that "Yesterday was a Thursday, tomorrow is Saturday and then comes Sunday" lines, but I think overall it's still a good song.Owh yea, also the grammar thing "we so excited",but other than that it's still a nice song right?Well, that's what I think.
Compared to other songs right now in the entertainment industries,I think Rebecca Black song is still acceptable. At least her song doesn't have that-thing-we-do-on-the-bed kind of stuff which has always been mentioned in a lot of songs. And Friday is obviously not about sneaking-out-late-to-your-boyfriend-house kind of songs or the I'm-drunk-so-let's-do-one-night-stand lyrics. It's merely about feeling excited for Friday and wanting to spend the night to enjoy with some friends. It doesn't have any swearing words too.So I think this song is okay.
Wait,why am I sounding like I'm defending Rebecca Black:s:
Am I:s:Well, that's not what I intended to do.It's just that I don't understand why so many people don't like this song and start to make fun of the people in the music video. Some even left a harsh comment on the video. Please, respect each individual the way you wanted to be respected. Each one of us are special in our own way in which, others don't understand.Tbh,I'm not Rebecca's fans...but I do like this song. That's all I want to say,so chill.Listen to the song you like :a3: and have a fun day.blogger-emoticon.blogspot.comToday is Thursday:r::002:

A little review from the music video:

Sweet Escape To My Hometown

blogger-emoticon.blogspot.comYeay!!Tonight I'm going back to my hometown to spend my weekends there.Although it's only for three days, but I can't help to feel so excited about it.CheerLeader Living on your own, struggling in your studies and handling your own expenses with a limited amount of money will really make you appreciate your family more. For me,home is a place where your family stays and you feel secured there knowing there are people who will support you But why do I put sweet escape at the post title?Haha,it's because actually I am still in the middle of completing my assignments and having a continuous tests almost every week.I've been planning to go back since last week, however because I'm so busy last week,I can't spare any time to go back to my home. It's 4 hours drive from my current hostel,so I can't go back just for a day,it'll be a complete waste of time. That's why I need to find some time to go back. And finally I decided to go back this weekend. That doesn't mean I'm not busy this weekend,I am,and that's what it's called a sweet escape.02 In fact I still have class on Friday which I've planned to skip and I have to prepare my English presentation for next week and let's not forget I have to practice a dance on Sunday for more than 5 hours,or so the leader has told me.
But I managed to give her some excuses so that I can go back tonight. So here I am,writing away in this blog feeling so excited about going back to my hometown. But I can imagine it'll be busier here when I got back from my home.blogger-emoticon.blogspot.com
Regardless of that,I am still going to enjoy my holidays at home.So excited...!!!So everyone have fun this weekends!Fiesta

International Malay Speech Contest Prime Minister Cup @PABM 2011

On March 11,2011 the final stage for International Malay Speech Contest Prime Minister Cup has been held at Putrajaya International Convention Center (PICC).International Malay Speech Contest Prime Minister Cup or better known as PABM for short is one of annual event hold by Malaysia starting from 2007.The purpose for this event is to introduce Malay language to the non-Malay speaker and also to internationalized Malay language. From year to year, the numbers of contestant from different countries has increased, starting to show off the result of this annual event.
For this year, there are two categories involved, that is international category and the archipelago category. For the international category,a participant from Turkey,Halil Ibrahim emerged as the champion while proud Malaysian,Amirrudin Abd. Rahman was named as the champion for archipelago category. Both of them managed to bring home a cash of RM 15 200.The first and second runner-ups for international category are Kamyshnikova Daria from Russia and Genevieve Woods from Australia respectively. While for the archipelago category, the first runner-up belong to Awang Abdul Rashid Awang Damit from Brunei and a participant from Singapore,Muhammad Izwan Othman won the third place.
I was there to watch the whole event as my university arranged for about 80 students to go there including 40 international students from our university who is still learning Malay language. It's a good experience not only for the international students, but also to us,the local students as we can learn how to give a good speech.I definitely have to give my respect to all of the contestants since all of them can speak Malay very well. It's such a special feeling to hear someone else, especially someone from outside the country,a non-Malay speaker to speak Malay with such fluency and what's more being so confident to talk in front of tenth of thousands audience in a language they had only learn. Most of the contestants had only learn Malay ranged from 1 year to three years. But they spoke so well on that night that even us,the native-speakers feel amazed.I've been learning English since I'm seven years old,but I still wouldn't dare to give a speech to thousands of people.I'll just die because of nervous I guess.Haha...that's so me,a coward.
Congratulations to the winners and also the participants. They had made many Malaysian to be proud of their own language. And I hope this annual event will continued to be hold since it's one of the most efficient way to internationalized Malay language to the world."Malaysia boleh"!!Well,to those who don't understand what I've just said,it's a Malay phrase meaning "Malaysian Can" which is to motivate and to support Malaysian through thick and thin.So that's it.Just another post from a fellow Malaysian.Although right now my readers are mostly from Philippines and United States.Haha...I hope more Malaysian will read my blog.:))Let's take a peek...

8.9 Earthquake Hit Japan

I had only knew about this around 3 am in the morning yesterday when I went online. As I was out of town the whole evening yesterday,I didn't know about this at all until I came back around 1 am and after cleaning myself and finally getting ready to go to bed,I opened Google and it's the first thing I saw.I was shocked by it and I immediately looked up for the news online. But since it's already far into midnight and the fact that I was so tired,I promised myself to write about it today. So,here I am,writing about it,a little too late, but better than none at all.
The 8.9 earthquake hit Japan near the east coast of Honshu at 2:46 pm (0546 GMT) and is said to last for 2 minutes. The affected areas are east of Honshu and northeast of Tokyo. In Tokyo, more than 1000 people are believed to be dead. Two of Japan's nuclear plants,Fukushima No.1 and No.2 located in northeast of Tokyo are also affected. These two is said to be experiencing nuclear meltdown as the emergency care cooling systems of the power plants is running on its backup batteries which is only enough for a few hours after the earthquake hit.Due to this, the authorities are forced to evacuate more than 45 000 residents nearby while they are trying to fix the problems. At the east of Sendai,Honshu the police has claimed that 200-300 bodies are found on the coast cause by the massive tsunami following the earthquake.Besides the numbers in Sendai, another 202 people are confirmed dead,673 went missing and 991 people are injured.
This earthquake is the fifth most powerful to hit the world in the past century. This earthquake is followed by more than 50 aftershocks for hours with many of them having a magnitude of more than 6.0.Countries like Philippines and Indonesia are issued a tsunami alerts and also other countries in the Pacific region. So let's us put our hands together and pray that this all will come to the end and no other country will be affected. The damage in Japan are so enormous it'll be hard for the authorities to give out the exact data at this time, but all of us can imagine how much damage this earthquake has cause.Due to it,more than 1000 people are dead,a sum of people went missing, injured and countless are left homeless.
Following this earthquake,an online websites has been set up to give the latest information to people regarding this and to help in any possible way.One of it is Person Finder.Let's do our parts and pray for the best especially to Japan.

The Needs For Organ Donation

First of all, sorry that this post sounds kinda a little heavy, factual and well, some of you might think this is boring. But I hope you'll take a little of your spare time to read through it and hopefully you'll do some serious thinking after you've finished reading it.I think what am I going to talk about you have already know considering I have give this post an obvious title.Yeah,it's about organ donation. It can be quite a sensitive issue to some individuals and it might be an important topic to others. No matter how you see it,that's what I'm going to talk about right now.
Recently,to fulfill one of my courses requirement, that's doing a small research of certain topic concerning the community in my place,my group has chosen to do a research on organ donation. We wanted to know what does our society thinks about organ donation. Are they supporting it or are they against it?Besides that,we also wanted to know among those who support organ donation, how many of them are actually willing to donate their organs? And if they don't what's the reason that prevented them from doing so?
Since my country have many ethnicities and each individuals has different beliefs and practices, the result varies considerably. We got so many different opinions and reasons. It makes us realized that not everyone is thinking the same way about certain things. The way we are brought up,our beliefs and the people around us become the major factors that differentiate our perspective on something.
So what's the result we've obtained from our little research? We have given out questionnaires to almost 60 people ranged from 18 to 25 years old,all of them are students in academic institutions beside interviewing an important individual responsible in organ donation affairs in our country organ donation center.I'm proud to say that all of our respondents agreed that organ donation is important to save someone's life and they are supporting it.Now,can you guess how many of them has registered themselves as an organ donor out of our 60 respondents? We found three organ donors out of our 60 respondents. That's about 5%,which means in every 20 individuals one is an organ donor.
Based on our survey too,we found out that most people don't want to donate their organ because they don't know much about organ donation,so they are having doubt to donate their organ. This is probably because there are not much of organ donation programs around when compared to blood donation which is held countless of times each year in our country.Besides that, they are also concern about who will receive their organs. In this case,I think I'm not wrong to say that differences in background such as beliefs is the cause. It's a fact that all religions lead us to do good things and prevent us from doing wrong, however, for me it's the misunderstanding of perceptions from the individual itself that leads to such doubtfulness.(I feel like this has become sensitive, forgive me for my words..I'm sweating right now...hope I didn't write anything wrong). There are also respondents who are considering to become an organ donor but their intentions were prevented by their families and friends who don't understand much about organ donation.Again,it's the lack of understanding for organ donation that make this happen.
All in all, after obtaining the data and analyzing it,I came up with my own conclusion and opinion. The way I see it,everyone is supporting organ donation as a  method to save someone's life. But not many of them are willing to be the organ donor due to the lack of information and understanding of this issue. Thus,I think the society need to be exposed and explained about organ donation so that they won't be scared to donate their organ anymore. There are still many nice people out there, who's willing to help to save other people life. It's just that they don't know how to and what's the effect to them.If organ donation is exposed more to the society,I'm sure many others will come forward to register as the organ donors.I've also noticed that there are more organ donors in developed countries like USA and Europe than developing countries like mine.I think this is because in developed country, the citizen has been given many exposure to organ donation while in developing countries, the effort to promote organ donation had only begun.
So are you an organ donor? If yes,I'll give you my salute for being such an angel and always know, what you do are so heroic to me and to many others. And if you are not an organ donor, why don't give it a thought to be one?I know it's not an easy decision to make, for that I hope you'll give it some time to think about it and see if you're up to it.If even after all the thinking and you just can't make yourself to say yes to organ donation, don't worry, you're not a bad person. You just haven't had the courage to do such a heroic act.But still you can spread the words around and hope that someone will become an organ donor because of your effort. In this world, there so many kind things to be done and there are a lot of way to do it.So everyone can do their own parts in their own way.May the world will still be a good place for the next generations to come.Peace!v(^0^)v

Domo-kun( どーもくん) from NHK

Anyone know who is Domo-kun please raise your hands.Nope? No one??Owh well, then let's change the question a little, anyone ever see this weird cute mascot, please say "aww..so cute..@_@"" Alright, enough kidding around..I know you must have seen this character some where, stumble upon it at various kind of website.Because it's just so cute you can't not notice it.I'm going to tell you guys a little about this weird fellow before I tell you why I'm doing a post about him.
Well, this Domo-kun right here is actually a mascot of Japan's NHK television station. He appeared in a few seconds on the television station's stop motion interstitial sketches in a series of continuous episodes. He was hatched from an egg and think that a rabbit named Mr.Usaji is his mother. His mouth is always wide-opened and he speaks in a way that we couldn't understand but it seems the other characters in the stop motion animation can understand him well. His favorite food his Japanese-style meat and potato stew.He dislike apples and it's said that the reason is related to his DNA(emm..weird..I like apples, how come anyone refused an apple??!).You can read more about him on the wikipedia.Hehe..I'm sorry that I'm not going to write a full page of his background here.Don't worry,it won't be in your final exam,so just focus on Domo's cuteness to release some of your tension, okay?:P
Recently it has become obvious that I started to like cute things, cute drama, cute people and etc.Lol..what's with that?I'm still trying to figure what is happening to me and all these changes in me,but it's not as easy as some laboratory experiments when it comes to understand the changes in yourself. For me the best thing is to go with the flow as long as it doesn't cause any harm to me and people around me.And I think liking a cute thing is good.By the way,I like Domo-kun because I think he's not only cute but also weird in some way.I don't know, the way his jaw is always wide-opened could be one of the reason.I think he looks cute that way. It's like he's always in a shock condition or surprised every time I see him because of his wide opened mouth. You know how we'll gasp unconsciously when we heard or see something unbelievable or something that surprised us.It's that kind of situation whenever I see Domo-kun.But I like him for being like. It's just so weird but so cute in some way for me.So right now I have a habit of admiring a photo of Domo-kun whenever I see one and sometime I'll even take it to post to my other website.
Here is the first episode of Domo-kun stop motion animation from Japan's NHK.This is when Domo hatched from a mysterious egg.Enjoy the weirdness of Domo-kun.(^0^)Y

College Sports Day

Arghh..my whole body is aching from these two days event...>.< Haha,I act as if I joined every single games in the sports day.Well, yes,it's my college sports day on the past 5th and 6th March. There were futsal and volleyball matches and a lot of interactive games such as explorace, giant draft snake and a lots more I'm not going into details here. They gave fun names to each games so it'll be kinda hard for me to translate into English and it may not sounds so interesting if I changed it into English.:)
Although I only joined it for one day,it's a fun experience for me.During the day,my friends and I stood beside the court on the sunny day to give our full supports to our players for futsal and volleyball. Our team had to be the most supportive team as we kept screaming and calling our players name to give them our supports. There were four teams altogether.I joined the explorace(exploration game,I'm sure you have heard it somewhere) during the night and had fun doing many games in the explorace. However we only managed to get the third place in the explorace...:"(
After all the matches were played, the marks were collected to determine which team get the highest marks and become the champion of our sports day.Although my team didn't become the champion,we are all still grateful to be the first runner up and the fact that we're only 6 marks away from the champion. It's such a small gap between us and the champion team.Oh well,a small difference is just as bad as a large difference anyway. We are still not the champion.
But I'm definitely happy to have joined the event.Although some may think it's a waste of time, for me it's a good way to spend some time with your friends.seniors and acquaintances. As a students we are all so busy with our studies that we sometime don't even know who's living in the next room to us or who is our neighbors around us.This is good chance for us to know them better while playing some games with them or just by standing outside the court chanting for our favorite team.Besides,by joining such activities, you can definitely take out a little portion of your stresses from studying hard the whole week.I think as a student,we shouldn't only focus on studying but also try to socialize with different people and join certain activities to gain some outside experiences. However,it's good not to overdo it or you might end up having so many things to do that you have to cut time for studying.I've seen some of my friends who do so many outside activities that isn't related to their studies. Some of them even skip classes for the sake of other things. You need to have a balance. So,work hard to get that A grade on your exam papers but take some time to put a genuine smile on your face too as a sign you're having fun in your life.Wishing everybody to have a good week ahead.Rocking Banana

Bluetooth Device Problem(>"<)

confusedWhy does my laptop can't receive any file via bluetooth?I never face this problem when I was using Windows XP.But when I changed to Windows 7,I can't send file from my cellphone to my laptop.I can receive the file send by the laptop to the cellphone but it fails to do so the other way around. My laptop basically can't receive file from the cellphone.I thought it's my cellphone problem at first, but I tried both the laptop and cellphone with my friends and it turned out to be the same. It's my laptop bluetooth problem. So I tried to check my bluetooth driver and found out that it doesn't have the bluetooth peripheral devices.I don't know what it is for,but I think it's because of the missing devices that my bluetooth doesn't work well.I tried to find the devices on the internet but I don't know where to find it.Does anyone else face this problem??It's driving me crazy since I use bluetooth a lotblogger-emoticon.blogspot.com.I hope I'll find way to solve it soon so I can start bluetooth again.
